The Lady Panthers lost their second game of the season to the Montgomery County Raptors. The team started the game once again without their top power forward,
Alaysia Fernandez. They hope to have her back in time for the next game against West Potomac State College Monday, November 4. The Panthers did not shoot well in the first half. Without Fernandez they did not have an inside presence and had to rely on outside shooting. In the second half, shots fell and the team competed for every ball. They did not give up in spite of double digit deficits throughout most of the game. The Panthers outscored the Raptors in the last 10 minutes of the game, which should give them something to build on as the season continues.
