Baltimore City Gives Prince George’s A Scare Behind Fabian Spee’s 23

 
BALTIMORE, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College men's basketball program nearly took down a PGCC club that is expected to compete for a Region 20 Championship for its first win of 2025-26, but the second half rally ran out of gas as the Owls escaped Charm City with a 76-71 decision.

  • Joram Fabian Spee nearly willed the Panthers to victory by himself, shooting 64.7% (11-of-17) from the field for a game-most 23 points and leading BCCC in rebounds at eight, five of the boards coming on the offensive glass.
 
  • A trio of players donning the Red and Black co-led the defensive assault that included 22 steals as Anthony Baker, Antonio Fliggins, and Jamari Seri all notched four while Fliggins provided an overwhelming wealth of generosity by handing out eight assists with the trio combining to produce 18 points.
 
  • Gabriel Byrd was the other Baltimore City student-athlete to register double-digits in the points department, tacking on 11 points in addition to five assists, four boards, a block plus a steal.
