ARNOLD, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College women's basketball program is triumphant for the first time since January 29, 2025, a span of 322 days between wins, blowing out the Anne Arundel Riverhawks on the road by 17 (71-54), its largest margin of victory since being reinstated as a varsity sport.

• Kayla Johnson had a night for the record books, piecing together the Panthers' first triple-double since Dony'e Moses on January 22, 2018 at Hagerstown, posting ten points, ten rebounds, and ten steals versus the Riverhawks.

 

• Pashence Perry came one steal shy of joining Johnson in the triple-double category, reaching the mark for points (17) and rebounds (13) while snatching away nine steals.

 

• Promise Whitmore was electric for Head Coach Rhonda Jackson, scoring 33 of the team's 71 points (46.5%), including both three-pointers, as she spent all 40 minutes on the floor en route to her new career-high.

 

• The entire active roster made contributions as Aries Weddington logged nine boards (five offensive) and five points, Rania Kasiba tallied six rebounds plus four points, Raina Cruse scored two and rebounded a pair, while Esionta Johnson pulled in an offensive rebound.
