The Panther basketball season comes to a close. Both men and women lost this week in the Region XX Eastern District Championship. The women were defeated by the top team in the region Monroe University. The score was 22-76. The team was lead in scoring once again by Freshmen London Galbraith. She scored 10 points. Also making the scoreboard was Fellow freshmen Samya Gary who put up 6 points. The team finished its first season in six years with a record of 2-25.

The men could not overcome a season slide that saw seven losses in a row. They lost to Allegany College of Maryland for the third time this season 66-75. The team was lead in scoring by Sophomore Marquise Delahaye. He paced the team with 17 points. He was joined in double figures by Freshmen Kuich Gatwech and Albatrit Syla who scored 12 and 10 respectively. The team finishes the season with a 13-16 record.
