Box Score 3 VALHALLA, NY – The Baltimore City Community College women's basketball team went 2-1 in the ASA Holiday Classic in Valhalla, NY.
The Lady Panthers (12-5) dropped their first game in a rematch against Monroe Community College (59-48) and then went on to win the next two games against Community College of Rhode Island (66-48) and against the host ASA (52-49) in a rematch of an earlier season loss in the P.E. Center.
In the three games for the Lady Panthers sophomore forward
Michelle Wright (Baltimore, Md./Dunbar HS) averaged 20.3 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.0 steals. Wright led the team in scoring in all three games.
The Lady Panthers will return to the P.E. Center to host conference foe Frederick Community College on Saturday, January 1
st at 1 p.m.
General admissions for the game will be $5, $2 for BCPS with valid I.D. and free admissions for BCCC faculty, staff and students with a valid school I.D.
