Lady Panthers Go 1-1 in Charm City Classic over the Weekend

BALTIMORE, MD – The Baltimore City Community College women's basketball team hosted the Charm City Classic in the P.E. Center over the weekend going 1-1, winning by two 51-49 on Saturday against Harcum College and falling to Monroe Community College 65-51 on Sunday.

The Lady Panthers are now 7-2 , ending their five game winning streak. In the win against the Lady Bears Amia Howard (Baltimore, Md./Benjamin Franklin HS) scored a team-high 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds. On Sunday, Michelle Wright (Baltimore, Md./Dunbar HS) finished with 28 points and 15 rebounds in the loss.

The Lady Panthers will be in action on Wednesday, December 10th as they travel to Cumberland, Md. to face Allegany College of Maryland at 5 p.m.
