Box Score SEVERN, MD. – Freshmen forward
Amia Howard (Baltimore, Md./Benjamin Franklin HS) of the Baltimore City Community College women's basketball team recorded her first triple-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
The win will set up a chance for the Lady Panthers to win their first regular-season conference championship on Tuesday night. The Lady Panthers are 19-6, 10-1 MD JUCO.
Offensively, the Lady Panthers shot 41-of-81 (50.6%) from the field, scored 74 points in the paint and had 29 assists in the game. Also, the Lady Panthers got 20 points off the bench and 21 second chance points.
Defensively, the Lady Panthers forced 29 turnovers and scored 30 points off of them. The Lady Panthers had 18 steals and eight blocks in the game.
The Lady Pioneers were led by Tiffany McKinney with 35 points and 12 rebounds.

Michelle Wright (Baltimore, Md./Dunbar HS) posted yet another double-double scoring a career-high 38 points and having a game-high 12 rebounds to go along with four steals and four blocks.
Danaira Duncan (Baltimore, Md./Coppin Academy) finished with a double-double of her own with 10 points and 10 assists and
Asia Brittingham (Baltimore, Md./Friendship Academy) chipped in with 10 points and six rebounds.
The Lady Panthers will host their last regular-season conference game in the P.E. Center on Tuesday, February 3
rd against Chesapeake College. Tip-off is at 5:30, a win for the Lady Panthers will guarantee the number 1 seed in the 2014-15 MD JUCO Tournament.
