BCCC Athletics Hall of Fame Inductees
Edward Chong Qui attended the Community College of Baltimore (CCB) from 1980-1982 and was a talented defensive player on the Red Devil men’s soccer team. He played alongside Chima Ugah, another member of the BCCC Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2012.
Chong Qui continued his soccer career at the University of Baltimore and graduated in 1985 with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He worked at the College on a part-time basis from 1980-84 and began working full time in 1985. Chong Qui was the Coordinator of the English Lab and Work-Study Coordinator, in addition to several other positions in the area of Student Services.
Currently, he is a Recruiter and Counselor in the Office of Admissions. Chong Qui’s two sons,
Eugene and Edward, played basketball at the College for Hall of Fame Coach Roger Dickens.
